Service Above Self… Our Harris County Constable Precinct 2’s office lent a helping hand.
Happy Easter from our office to your family!
March 30th marked the completion of HCCP’s Citizen Police Academy for 2017! Congratulations to everyone who participated this year and to Sgt. C. Vara-Leija, this year’s class coordinator and instructor. For the final class session, she concluded our Academy with instruction on disaster preparedness.
Well pard’ner… I like the way you’re thinking.
It was an honor for our office to be part of the Annual Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, Dignitary breakfast, and parade. Since its beginning in 1932, the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo has committed nearly $430 million to the youth of Texas. Large events, like the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, garner local, regional, national and international attention. In response, local leaders realize the expanse of the venue and the security issues involved, so they plan accordingly.
Come learn what it’s like behind the badge, find out more about the workings of Harris County Precinct 2 and the challenges they face daily. We encourage the community to come and also express their own thoughts and concerns. Look forward to seeing you there!
It’s the most wonderful time of the year. Situational Awareness is of the upmost importance. Be safe and Happy Holidays from your team at Harris County Constable’s Office Precinct 2.
It is our sincere hope that you and your family enjoyed the summer and making memories to cherish forever. Now, it is time to consider how best to return to the learning environment and remain safe.
With the approaching holiday season upon us, we need to be aware that car burglaries and theft of contents from the inside of parked vehicles increases peak during this time. As people visit malls and businesses to shop we should be mindful of our surroundings.
Our seniors are sometimes victimized and they are not always able to report the maltreatment. This is a timely reminder of just how much our senior citizen population means to us. We must ensure that they are protected and revered in their golden years.
The World Wide Web has created an enormous opportunity to benefit our social, political, and economic environment in many ways that advance our lives, but the internet can make you vulnerable to attacks such as advertising scams and personal safety issues.
