The Criminal Warrants Division is assigned to the Operations Command. The deputies of this division are tasked with executing the Class C Misdemeanor criminal warrants (traffic, assault, etc) filed by the Justice Peace Courts of Precinct 2. They work closely with the Patrol Division in executing higher level warrants filed by deputies during the cyourse of their criminal response and investigation.

We also understand that simple oversights occur and that a fast-paced lifestyle can often allow a court date for a traffic citation to pass by before you know it.  As a result, a warrant is filed and the potential for arrest, stress and embarrassment can occur.

If this is the case, and you believe you may have had a warrant filed for your arrest out of one of our Justice of the Peace courts, we encourage you to call the court or our office to begin a dialogue with us that will remediate the situation in an expeditious and more pleasant manner.

Remember, there is no risk when you call. You will be provided with the information you need to resolve the warrant.

Our detectives in the Warrant Division can take your call at: 713-477-4070.

If you desire to contact the issuing Justice of the Peace court to further discuss the matter, you may contact them at:
